Rita Hernández
Rita is a Mass Communication Sciences and Journalism graduate from the UNAM.
She began her professional career in PR in 1999, when she joined CI Comunicacion de Impacto, as account executive and collaborated in health and wellbeing accounts - Nicorette and Cabejet Pharmacia - and tourism with Karmina Palace Hotel.
In 2001 she joins Massideas Public Relations, responsible of Imedeen®, skincare product, Sico condoms, and Dolac pain killer pill from Syntex Roche Group.
Two years later, she is invited by journalist Theres Garcia to work with her in Set Comunicaciones, designing and coordinating media strategies for ExpoManagent, where she stays for four consecutive years.
In 2007 she moves to JM Relaciones Públicas agency as account director collaborating in several clients. In finance and technology, by creating communication channels between the media and Microsiga, as well as Totvs two Brazilian firms with significant presence in Mexico, among others. In healthcare, she coordinated and led the campaign 3i Implant Bio, the first Congress Psicotrauma in Mexico and the sixth worldwide. And in consumer products, beauty brand Ebel.
In March 2008, she rejoins MassIdeas Public Relations and is responsible for lifestyle and beauty accounts such as Imedeen®, and entertainment media relations efforts to help generate awareness and news around Up With People tour, achieving great results in media coverage in Mexico City, Monterrey, San Luis Potosi and Puebla.
Besides her PR professional career, Rita collaborates with her husband in their electronic journal of tourism: Turismo@ctual.
